North America region appoints new officers

WACC - North America members have elected new Executive Committee officers and reconfirmed others during their Annual General Meeting held in Chicago last month.

Keith Knight continues as the regional president till 2009 while Dr. Glory Dharmaraj finished her term as vice-president and WACC Board director. She was replaced by Rebekah Chevalier as vice- president. The region's Secretary is now Sheila George, also a new WACC board member. Paul Edison-Swift continues in his capacity as the Treasurer and membership secretary. George Conklin and Erik Alsgaard were also elected as two new members of the Executive committee. NARA-WACC is an association of professional communicators who work with both religious and secular professional communications organizations in order to promote understanding and develop professional skills in regard to advancing democratic communications.
