WACC's big move from London to Toronto
The new global offices of the World Association for Christian Communication (WACC) in Toronto, Canada were inaugurated Monday, 2 October at a service of celebration in the sanctuary of Hope United Church. The former Christian education wing of the church has been renovated to house WACC’s eight member programme staff. All photos by Richard C. Choe

Images from the Global Media Monitoring Project 2005. On 16th of February 2005, the world's news media came under scrutiny when hundreds of people in over 90 countries monitored the representation and portrayal of women and men in the news on television, radio and in newspapers. This third ‘Global Media Monitoring Project’ (GMMP) was organised by the Women's Programme at WACC.

This year's theme was Communication for Peace, the theme for WACC Congress 2008. The number of entries, and the improved quality of images, shows that the theme of Communication and Peace is part of the thematic and visual concerns of professional and amateur photographers across the world. This popular event brings together hundreds of photographers from around the world with each photo on the subject of communication.
