For its 25th Anniversary, Project Censored has just posted to the web its list of the top 25 censored Media Stories of 2001.
This year the report has an introduction from Noam Chomsky looking back at a quarter of a century of censored news.
Laura Conaway and James Ridgeway look at the discrimination against black voters in Florida, there is a chapter on the history of Junk food News by Carl Jensen and a host of excellent essays by other authors.
This is clearly an area where the internet is unparalleled in its usefulness. The site is well laid out and has a searchable archive of stories.
