 The School of Journalism and Communication, University of Queensland has called for nominations for its annual Communication and Social Change Award.

The award honours outstanding contributions by individuals or organisations to the theory and practice of Communication for Social Change (CSC).
Inter-governmental organisations, non-governmental organisations, international, regional and national academic and professional communication associations, international media networks and communication and social change consortia are encouraged to submit nominations for this Award.

The Award comprises a plaque and A$2500, and winners are selected in the last quarter of each year by an independent jury consisting of senior Australian academics, media and aid and development representatives.

In addition to the CSC Award, a Meritorious Commendation Award may also be given if the Jury decides that more than one nominee deserves recognition for their achievements. The Meritorious Commendation Award carries with it a financial Award of A$1000 and a Certificate.
