Iceland's church and society dialogues via social media |

WACC-North America will host a webinar titled “fragmented, but wholesome - Iceland's church and society dialogues via social media” on Tuesday, October 30 from 11am Eastern time.
In the webinar, the Rev. Árni Svanur Daníelsson, Director of Communications for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Iceland (ELCI), a WACC Corporate member, will share two case studies of how social media has been utilized in a discourse about church and religion in Iceland. First a discussion on church and school 2010 and then a discussion about the church and the Icelandic constitution in connection with a referendum on the constitution that will take place in late October 2012. Daníelsson will present some findings on how the church can utilize social media in its work.
