The annual WACC-Asia Communication Sunday will be observed this Sunday, June 26, on the theme “Communicating Climate Justice”, the theme of the Triennial Meeting of the WACC- Asia Region which concluded recently in Indonesia. |
The WACC-Asia Chair, Rev. Dr. Samuel Meshack, in his letter requesting the observance of the Asia Communication Sunday emphasizes that climate change is a question of justice and communicators can make a difference by “amplifying the voices of marginalized people and communities and ensuring that equity and mutual accountability are at the heart of any response to climate change”.
WACC members and communication professionals in the region are encouraged to Participate.
