WACC Europe produces first regional newsletter |

| | WACC-Europe has produced the first regional newsletter, Meeting Point, aimed at connecting the European personal and corporate members of WACC. The Regional Chair, Rev Juha Rajamäki, says the newsletter is a tool to inform members about networks, events and resources. |
“We hope it will give you an impulse to participate in the work of WACC Europe and to contribute your own expertise for our common benefit”, says Rajamäki in his editorial message.
He further points out that the Press Officers Network of European Churches (PONEC) and the European television festival of religious programmes are other ways of keeping the members connected. Upcoming events highlighted in the newsletter include; the Conference of European Churches (CEC) with the theme: Communication as spider in the web called ‘church’ which will be held in Lyon, France, July15-21, the PONEC meeting in Brussels, November 12-14, the 17th edition of the European Television Festival of Religious Programmes, to be held in Berlin, June 2-6, 2010, among other events.
